Nacido el 13 de marzo de 1955. en la aldea Lypovets en el óblast de Lviv. en 1983 se graduó del Instituto Estatal de Artes Decorativas y Aplicadas de Lviv. Artista de Honor de Ucrania. Pintor, figura pública, docente. Trabajó como director de Lviv Art and Production Combine. De 1997 a 2012, fue director del Museo del Cementerio de Lychakiv. Desde 2005, ha sido profesor asociado del Departamento de Pintura Académica de la Academia Nacional de Ciencias de Ucrania.

Su trabajo se basa en imágenes estilizadas y soluciones cromáticas abiertas que combinan las tradiciones del arte popular ucraniano y las tendencias modernas de la pintura. Su producción creativa incluye más de 50 exposiciones de arte en Ucrania y en el extranjero.
