CHALLENGES

We transform into “challenges” the real needs that come to us from Ukraine and from the Ukrainian refugees themselves in Navarra. We launch these challenges to Navarre society and guarantee that 100% of donations reach their destination.

NASH DIM CHALLENGE

The Nash Dim Challenge ( Our Home in Ukrainian) is an ambitious and pioneer project, not implemented yet since the war started, targeting to build a new home in Ukraine to shelter 100 women and children, displaced from the occupied zones.

"ST. NICHOLAS" CHALLENGE

In October 2022 we received a letter from the children of Skole (Ukraine), from the Nash Dim! You can read it a little below.

In the letter they asked St. Nicholas to pass through Pamplona in case there was a gift for them.

The feast of St. Nicholas in Ukraine is on December 19 and is especially awaited by children, since they believe that that night comes down from heaven and puts under pillows the gifts for those who have been obedient, and the rods for the disobedient.

CHALLENGE ACHIEVED!

77 children will have their gift from St. Nicholas

Thanks to 77 Navarrese men and women who have decided to sponsor one of these children by playing “St. Nicholas” for them.

HOPE CHALLENGE

The “Hope Challenge” aimed to treat and rehabilitate war wounded in Navarre.
In April 2022, three war wounded arrived in Pamplona, full of hope and uncertainty.
Volunteers from the Nurses Foundation of Navarra, together with the Ukrainian association Berehynia, have cared for and attended to all the needs of these wounded during their stay in our country.

Once rehabilitated, the Navarra Nurses Foundation accompanied two of the injured back to their country in July 2022 and the third of them, in November 2022. Undoubtedly, this has been one of the most important challenges achieved by the Foundation.

BED CHALLENGE

The donation of 110 beds has been achieved by Solera Asistencial and the NGO Ayuda contenedores. These 110 beds have been sent to a hospital in Lviv and Makariv, Bucha province, where they will be installed in a senior refugee center.

CHALLENGE FOR LIFE

On July 20, volunteers from the Navarra nursing foundation delivered 120 tourniquet and hemostatic kits to two Ukrainian NGOs that will distribute them among the people who need them. This material, obtained thanks to the collaboration of IDM, has been acquired with individual and collective contributions, such as the one made by the workers of the Valle del Roncal center, in Pamplona.

CHALLENGE 3.0

On July 20, volunteers from the Navarra nursing foundation delivered two vehicles by hand in Lviv. One of them has been sent directly to Mukolayiv and the other will be handed over in the coming days to health workers working on the front. These vehicles have been acquired thanks to donations from Grupo 40 Iniciativa Enferma and the Burgos company Grupo Copru.

CIRCULAR CHALLENGE

This challenge has been a real chain of solidarity. The Solera Group donated 19 beds thanks to the mediation of Edu Prieto and later joined the donations the NGO Ayuda Contenedores, which gave several more beds, side tables, delivery beds, stretchers, wheelchairs and walkers, constant monitor and abundant varied sanitary material.
The challenge has also had the collaboration of Construcciones Ecay, which has given one of its trucks to transport the beds to the place of departure from Pamplona. The end result is a truck loaded with 14 tons of solidarity. Thank you all!

CHALLENGE A LOOK

From the hospital of Vinnytsa they have asked us for a specific lens for eye examination. In war situations the eyes suffer especially due to particles floating in the environment. We appeal to clinics, hospitals and private ophthalmologists who may have one of these lenses in disuse and can donate it. If you need more information, do not hesitate to contact us.
